I'm looking for any information about my Grandmother's
1st husband Wiley James Waters. He was killed in the line of duty 11-15-1930.
There seems to be know infor. online.
My Grandmother (Effie Mae Moody) and he were
Married in apr.1924 or 1925.
He is buied in the Moody Cemt. in Appling county.
His mother was Mary M. Abbott, and his dad was James Jasper Waters.
The murder took place in Jeff Davis County.
He was going to arrest a man by the last name Kitchens. I Had something to do with Moonshine bootlegging.

there is a Warren James Waters of JDC Ga. that was killed 15 days later!!
What's up with that!!
Two officers in that same little place with almost the same name.
Can somebody up there help me?
