Margaret and Mary Griffis, daughters of Elizabeth (unknown) Griffis and Unknown Griffis married brothers Jimmy and Jackson Stephens/Stevens and moved from Appling/Pierce Co. to St. Augustine Florida about 1858-1862. Elizabeth(52) and children Jacob (15), Margaret(16) and Sarah (12) are living in Pierce Co. in 1860 next door to William (41) and Nancy (38) Thornton.
